Remote TLD cannot be started as service

Frage
Problem With the use of David on Windows the TLD was swapped to another Windows Server. The installed Remote TLD can be started manually but when starting it as a service the following error message appears:

»The service "David TLD 001" on "local computer" cannot be started. Error 1053: The service does not respond on time to the start or control demand.«

Antwort
If the error message mentioned above appears when starting the service »Remote TLD« resp. if the Remote TLD cannot be started as service then the account for starting the service does possibly not possess sufficient rights.

The user account under which the service »Remote TLD« runs must possess sufficient rights on the server with the Remote TLD as well as on the David Server. Thus, for example, in a domain, the account of the domain administrator can be used to start the service because this account on the Host and the Client possesses sufficient rights. Whereas the „local Administrator“ possesses the right to start the TLD as service but it possibly has not sufficient rights to access the David Server. Besides the access to the David Server in this case the corresponding account also requires the right »Register as service«.
